✧ they're Real! | Part 1. Push-up Liner ヽ( ★ω★)ノ

Benefit released their newest product, the gel eyeliner, earlier last week. It was perfect timing as I was in need of a new eyeliner so I thought I'd give this one a go and bought not only the eyeliner but the mascara and the matching makeup remover as a set and got a free clutch to go with it, as well as samples!

The push-up liner tip is an angled silicone end where the product comes out from when you twist the other end of the pen. The formula is super rich and creamy making it easy to apply onto our eyelids.

Colour: ★★★★★

This gel eyeliner is super pigmented with every stroke

Formula: ★★★☆☆

The gel liner is quite waterproof and sweat-proof!!I love the super pigmented formula as it gives the effect of fuller lash lines and bigger eyes! Although it may be tough to remove and it does tend to clump up time to time so that is one factor I'm not loving. 

Packaging: ★★★★★

The of the box matches the they're Real Mascara and remover, chic and modern. As for the eyeliner itself is pretty modern, with a silicone tip and a twist cap to push the product through. It may be hard to control the thickness of the line but with practice you'll get the width that you want! 

Cost: ★★☆☆☆

This eyeliner is a tad pricey at AUD$35.

Overall: ★★★☆☆

This gel eyeliner has now become one of my favorite eyeliners, since I'm unable to find the old Dolly Wink liquid liner, as it doesn't smudge onto the bottom lash line!

Just finish filming a requested makeup tutorial and giveaway! Hopefully my laptop will be fixed soon to edit and upload everything! Until then I shall keep filming as much as I can! 

Anyways it's time for me to make lunch then do a massive clean up in my room! I shall be selling off some branded makeup (mostly brand new or used once/twice) at super cheap prices, internationally. Reason being is because I have way too much makeup and what better than to sell them at extremely cheap prices to you my fellow readers! So keep an eye out for that!

2014 SAILOR MOON CRYSTAL『美少女戦士セーラームーン』

As a kid not only did I love Doraemon and Studio Ghibli, I also loved the Sailor Moon series which I first watched it in English DUB! I completed watching the whole series quite a long time ago, in Japanese, since TV back in the days never finished the series and still to this day I bring it back up and rewatch it. Without fail it will always bring me tears and laughter!

To bring back more memories of it, earlier this year my friend told that the new and improved Sailor Moon 2014 will be coming out in July! I was extremely excited to see how it will look like and all, until I saw the first spoiler trailer which I have below.

I simply just find the portion of the characters off? But I do like how the colours are much more define and all except the first thing I noticed was that I really did not like the eyes nor the lips as much. Regardless of the drawing style I'm still going to watch Sailor Moon Crystal series when it comes out! But I did hear that it's more closer to the manga version of sailormoon (more fighting scenes rather than character development) but yeah lets hope it's not all about fighting because I do love each and every character and how they've developed throughout the seasons!

I'll probably go into more detail about what I think of the Sailor Moon Crystal series but yeah other than that here's a few more pictures of the different drawing styles for each of the main sailor soldiers character.

New Hampton Bar | VIP Launch Event ヽ( ★ω★)ノ

This post is a tad late but just before the Easter break I was invited to attend a VIP Launch at the New Hampton Bar located in Kings Cross. I, of course invited fashion blogger TonyLion, my childhood friend Steph and my mum (as she wanted a night of glamour!)

 

 

"Our intention with this venue from the beginning was to bring ‘The Rocks to The Cross’. We love the old Sydney feel of The Rocks, with its cobbled lanes and rich culture, and we wanted to bring that atmosphere into The Cross, which is traditionally known for being a bit more 'dark and dingy'", says owner, Kieran Coleman.

There was live music, delicious cocktails and French-inspired eats from the head chef Ben Palmer. I for one couldn't wait to try out their signature cocktails that they had on the menu and their bite-size eats!

For starters I tried their Lychee Rose cocktail which is their number 1 signature cocktail and no wonder it's their number 1. It had a very beautiful blend of lychee and rose yet the alcohol taste was still present but not too strong for us girls. They garnished a real lychee fruit and a rose petal floating on the top, such a beautifully decorated cocktail will make all the ladies lining up for this drink. 

We then started to see the canapés going around and being slightly on the hungry side we couldn't resist and went and tried as many of the canapés we could possibly find that night! There were a total of 15 types of canapés that night which included dessert and dishes from their actual menu and they all sounded incredibly delicious.

Although we weren't able to try all the canapés that night I do look forward to coming here for lunch or dinner with my friends once I get my final exam done with later this month, so I can get into more detail on the flavors of each dish! Regardless, the canapés that night were super duper and I wish I could have stuffed my face with more!! Now enough chitchat from me and here's more photo's from that night!

[4th June 2014, Wednesday]

This morning I slept in a bit as I didn't have uni today. Eventually got out of bed went and got freshened up then FOOD! As for now just getting some blogging stuff lined up and then starting on my studies for my final exam in the next two weeks!
On another note this autumn has been extremely warm and now that it's officially winter I wonder if this years' winter will be warm too? HMM!!!
