It's been a while since I have been invited to watch a musical and this time I was invited to watch The King and I at the Sydney Opera House a couple weeks back. This was my first time going INSIDE the Sydney Opera House so I was looking forward to see not only the musical but the architect of the Opera House from the inside.

I got the musical just on time and the set was already impressive! I didn't know what to expect since I didn't really have much time on my hand to watch the trailer beforehand so I just went with the flow.

To my surprise it was actually quite entertaining and it was easy to comprehend all the jokes made. Even the kids in the theatre were having fun too.I thoroughly enjoyed my night and I recommend this musical for those who are interested in broadway shows or musical.

Opening night of Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (♠_♦)

As continued from the Grandma’s Little Bakery review post, after having a lovely satisfying lunch we headed back to the city to relax and enjoy ourselves as we went window shopping.
Later that day another two friends of mine met up as we were off to Theatre Royal to the opening night of the Broadway musical Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. Although we were a tad late we pretty much understood what had happened in the parts that we missed.

Dirty Rotten Scoundrels is based on the 1988 box office smash-hit film and centres on twow con men on the French Riviera. The first is the suave, sophisticated and successful Lawerence Jameson and the other is a small-time crook named Freddy Benson. These two join forcing in the ‘art of con’ but they soon realize that Beaumont sur Mer isn’t big enough for the two of them so they agree on a bet that whoever is able to extract $50,000 from a young female ‘soap’ heiress, Christine Colgate, will win and get to stay, the other must leave town.
Throughout the entire show there was dancing, singing and humor which is what made it incredibly entertaining. My friends and I enjoyed the show as we laughed the night away. One of my friends said that I have some resemblance to Jolene Oakes’, as I love shopping and my personality is just as crazy as hers!

Want to know what she’s like? Then go watch Dirty Rotten Scoundrels now as tickets are being sold now! First show is tonight at 8pm!!!!

Go Grease Lightning ♪ └(★o★)┐

Last Thursday I was invited to the Grease musical opening night and since I had four tickets I decided to bring my whole family, especially my parents as they pretty much grew up during that age.
My new coach bag which friends got for my birthday!
So what is Grease all about? Well it is about the lives of an irresistible mix of adolescent angst, vibrant physicality and the 1950s pop culture.
The cast all had amazing voices and portrayed each character very well!!
The casting list
Apparently when the film first hit Hong Kong you would see all the boys purchasing a pair of black jeans and shirt and gelling their hair up to look all “swag” and hipster. It was also when people started discoing in Hong Kong too!

Sexy and I know it! Wooo!
As for myself I first watched the Grease movie back in primary school, which is an extremely long time ago and I was also in the choir back them and one song we did sing was the well-known “Grease Lightning” song.
My brother & I
My younger brother on the other hand had no idea what it was so he was a bit iffy about the musical thing but once the show started he really enjoyed himself and he had a vague memory of hearing the Grease Lightning song before.
It was a great night filled with laughter and fun as we thoroughly enjoyed the show as a whole family. Both my parents were humming to the songs that popped up one by one as it brought back so many memories from back in their days. I definitely wouldn’t mind watching this again with my friends!! So what are you waiting for go with your parents or friends and watch this entertaining musical.
The pink snail matches my pink skorts!

Fun at Theatre Royal & Mid-Autumn Festival ☆ミ(o*・ω・)ノ

Last month, August, I wasn't able to blog much because it is usually the busiest month of the year for me, due to birthday's (mine included). Recently I’ve also been busier due to uni work piling up and I’ve also been attending more events as a blogger, which I’m about to share with you guys!
A little snack before the show ;)
Earlier last month, I was invited to the opening night of Freud’sLast Session, which was located at Theatre Royal. Here is a summary from their official website on what it was about:
Freud’s Last Session centres on legendary psychoanalyst Dr. Sigmund Freud, who invites a young, little-known professor, C.S. Lewis, to his home in London. Lewis, expecting to be hauled over the carpet for satirizing Freud in a recent book, soon realizes Freud has a much more significant agenda. On the day England enters World War II, Freud and Lewis clash on the existence of God, love, sex and the meaning of life – only two weeks before Freud chooses to take his own.
Pretty good seats!
I was quite glad that I invited my friends to this show as they thoroughly enjoyed. I also got to meet the lovely, Amanda who organised the tickets for us too!! Thanks Amanda!!
Earlier this month, I was yet again invited to Theatre Royal to the opening of the the well-known performance STOMP! Of course before we headed to the performance we went to grab a quick and easy dinner.
Fancy lychee cocktail~
Fish & Chips <3
Steak & Gravy~

First time ever watching STOMP!
Regardless of the seating, the view was still GOOD!
Stomp has a unique combination of percussion, movement and visual comedy and uses items such as matchboxes, brooms, garbage cans, Zippo lighters and more to fill the stage with energizing beat. The inventive and invigorating stage show that's dance, music and theatrical performance blended together in one electrifying rhythm.
It was simply amazing to watch and I had an amazing night with my friend~
Oh! remember earlier last month i went and watched the BLUE MAN GROUP show??? If you don't know what I'm talking about you can read about on my experience to the show >>here<<!!
It was a fantastic show and I was quite sad to leave half-way due to personal reasons but guess what! I have an exclusive offer to all of my cherish readers!!!
You can now redeem an exclusive offer to watch the BLUE MAN GROUP show, by clicking "HERE". I'm going to purchase a few tickets to go with friends and this time I'll stay for the whole show!
