When in Bali, a visit to Potato Head Beach Club is a must and my first time visiting the place was during the evening! After a long day in Seminyak we started looking for places to have dinner and since we found Potato Head Beach Club we decided along the way we decided to have dinner there.
Potato Head is well known for the beach club and also their amazing building structure too! The wall is made up of old wooden window shutters! You can see, in the picture above, the outside and inside view of the wooden shutters!
When we got to the counter the first thing the staff asked was if we had a reservation..and not knowing we had to book we didn't, but luckily for us the staff were able to give us a table at the Balinese restaurant, called LILIN which was on the left side of the beach club (if you're looking towards the ocean).

The sight was just simply beautiful at night but makes me wonder what the view would be like here during day time. Anyways once were seated we took our menu's and looked through what to eat. There was so many good and delicious choices and in the end we only went for 3 dishes and red rice. We also got a interesting starter (complimentary) which I believe it to be tomato flesh and a bit of watermelon in a thin pastry carrier. Very light and refreshing to have!
The following dishes included a vegetable dish, chicken dish and of course a seafood dish too. We definitely wanted a vegetable dish as we felt we needed to clean our stomach somewhat.
Sauteéd Long Bean with Garlic Chili Sauce.
Ayam Betutu Bumbu Rajng: Oven-Roasted Chicken with Balinese spices.
Grilled Catch of the Day, marinated with local spices and served with four of Lilin's special Sambal selections.
It was such an amazing dinner, even though portions seemed a bit smaller compared to the other places we have tried but we definitely left this place fulfilled and satisfied. The flavors of each dish was just beautiful, especially the 4 different sambals!
The bill came in a cute little box and we sat at the restaurant a little longer just absorbing the view, our friendship and how blessed we were to be here. So if you're ever in Bali, you MUST come here day or night (because I went again during day time before I left). I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!

Hope you guys have been well over the holidays! I've been starting to look for a new job since my xmas contract is coming to an end and my other workplace is not giving me any shifts, so no extra funds for my Japan trip. Hope I find one soon and now I'm off as I need to get ready to head off to my friends birthday party~
