Visiting The Australasian College Broadway └|°ε°|┐

Earlier last month I was invited to join The Australasian College Broadway over the next couple of month’s to enjoy what they had to offer at the college and what tips and tricks they can share with us which I, of course, will share with all you my lovely readers.
The Australasian College Broadway is a highly awarded and recognized centre for learning and educational excellences. They offer a wide range of diploma’s and certificate programs, delivered by Australia’s leading education and training specialists. They cover education and training programs in makeup, beauty and hair, so there is bound to be one that interests you.
Today, there is currently over 1,000 students that are studying one or more courses offered through the College’s three specialist skill and they actively participate in the workforce, either through their own businesses or working in the industry.
Yesterday afternoon, I was invited to have a quick introduction of the college with Kelly. I was shown around through the catwalk area, the new rooms (that were still being painted), the makeup and hair studio (renovations are almost complete) and of the beauty room. They were having major renovations around the front of reception which will all be done by Friday! I can’t wait to see the newly renovated rooms when I come in again the next time it’s finished.

Where my facial was taken place~
Super clean, neat and tidy!!!
Once we reached the beauty room, Kelly had organized a facial for me and I was surprised as I wasn’t expecting any pampering during our intro-briefing so I came out with a bit of makeup one. When I go for facial’s I usually go bare face but anyway I took up the offer to enjoying some pampering since uni has made me incredibly busy so it was a good opportunity to wind down.
I'm just going to relax now!!!
The student in charge of doing my facial was Romy, she was really nice and thoughtful throughout the whole process and I got to ask the studying process here at the college. Romy told me that everyone gets pampered here at the college because the students need to practice their practical work on a body. Of course they have been educated and trained beforehand so no mistakes will be made so we, the clients, will be very safe in their hands.

I thoroughly enjoyed my facial with Romy and guess what!? All you, my amazing readers, if you’re around Sydney, go and experience the facial for yourself as prices are incredible affordable!!!  They also do massages, aromatherapy, manicure, pedicures, eyelash tinting, eyebrow shaping/tinting, lip, chin, facial, underarm, bikini waxing etc. & ALL under AUD$30!!!  See what I mean by incredibly affordable!!
Check out their beauty price list >>here<<
As you know tomorrow night is Halloween and The Australasian College is having a crazy fun party which is opened up to everyone! They will be hosting a Halloween Hair and Makeup Competition to create the best look which will then be declared the winner of 2013. There will also be plenty of prizes to be won too so why not!? The event starts at 5pm and finishes around 7:3-pm so come down to the college and check out the students great skills. I’m sure to be there so I hope to see you around tomorrow night too! Check out their event's page for more information!!
Feeling super refreshed and relaxed after my session~~ <3

Opening night of Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (♠_♦)

As continued from the Grandma’s Little Bakery review post, after having a lovely satisfying lunch we headed back to the city to relax and enjoy ourselves as we went window shopping.
Later that day another two friends of mine met up as we were off to Theatre Royal to the opening night of the Broadway musical Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. Although we were a tad late we pretty much understood what had happened in the parts that we missed.

Dirty Rotten Scoundrels is based on the 1988 box office smash-hit film and centres on twow con men on the French Riviera. The first is the suave, sophisticated and successful Lawerence Jameson and the other is a small-time crook named Freddy Benson. These two join forcing in the ‘art of con’ but they soon realize that Beaumont sur Mer isn’t big enough for the two of them so they agree on a bet that whoever is able to extract $50,000 from a young female ‘soap’ heiress, Christine Colgate, will win and get to stay, the other must leave town.
Throughout the entire show there was dancing, singing and humor which is what made it incredibly entertaining. My friends and I enjoyed the show as we laughed the night away. One of my friends said that I have some resemblance to Jolene Oakes’, as I love shopping and my personality is just as crazy as hers!

Want to know what she’s like? Then go watch Dirty Rotten Scoundrels now as tickets are being sold now! First show is tonight at 8pm!!!!
