Mango Mousse Pocky Ratings:

Taste:
The biscuit stick covered with the mango mousse chocolate has the perfect combination of milk and mango to create that mango pudding-like flavor. As soon as you open the packet you can just smell the aroma's of the mango mousse.

Overall:
Even though i'm not sure what the price is but i would definitely recommend the mango mousse flavor to everyone :)

Cafe Session at CreAsion for Macaron Love ♥

--
Read Part One here
Part 2.
After our delightful girl on girl talk we walked around the city shopping and talking along the way, my friend decided to take to me to a place where they made amazing macaron's !

So she took me to Cafe CreaSion, where they specialize in making different and unique flavored macaron's!!! The people who were working there were very friendly and they are Japanese :)

Cafe CreaSion Ratings:

Location:
This place is not very easy to find but it is a 5 minute walking distance from museum station!
21 Alberta St 2000 Sydney

Menu:
They offer coffee and specialize in making unique flavored macaron's!!

Overall:
Highly recommend this place!! I will definitely be going back as i want to try out all their different macaron flavors!!

This is their counter and work area where you can see them making fresh macaron right in front of your eyes! Of course there are already pre-made macaron displayed in the glass fridge.

There was simply so many flavors i wanted to try like yuzu, green tea and black sesame. But we decided to try out the lavender and raspberry lycée flavor.

Just look at their vibrant colours!!! The combination of these two colours made me feel like it was spring all over again!!!

Lavender Macaron Ratings:

Taste:
The lavender taste was overwhelming!! It is the most unique flavor of macaron's i've ever tasted!!!

Cost:
The macaron's are AUD$2.60/each. Of course you can buy them in boxes so you can pick a few different flavors at once and savor them at home or with friends.

Overall:
Will recommend this flavor as it is really unique!!

Raspberry Lycée Macaron Ratings:

Taste:
The blend of raspberry and lycée goes really well!!!!

Cost:
The macaron's are AUD$2.60/each. Of course you can buy them in boxes so you can pick a few different flavors at once and savor them at home or with friends.

Overall:
For those who like a twist of flavors definitely try this one out!!

Cafe Session @Reuben Hills

So yesterday i went out to the city for lunch with my dear friend  for a catch up Brunch session. We decided to go try out the the cafe called Reuben Hills, which is the first part of our brunch session. (part two out shortly!!)

Reuben Hills Ratings:

Location:
Reuben Hills is within walking distance from Central Station. It's about less than 10 minute walk to get to their location.
61 Albion St Surry Hills 2010 Sydney
Open 7 days 7am - 4 pm.

Menu:
The menu consisted of mainly sandwiches, burgers or tortilla wraps. They don't have a great variety of coffee-based drinks to choose from so there is nothing super special about their drinks i suppose

Overall:
I would recommend this place as it has a really nice atmosphere to it.

This is the interior of the place. Blurred out peoples faces for privacy reasons of course.

We sat right under the second floor where you can see that they had renovated to make a oval hole so there was more light and space to the place.

So while we waited to be seated we took a look at their menu, which was just made out of paper. I have a feeling that they change their menu's, maybe?
Left: latte, Right: sesame shake

Here i had ordered a sesame shake, while my friend had ordered a latte. As for food we ordered a Figs, goat curd, wild rocket & jamon on sourdough rye and the NOT reuben-wagyu salt brisket, pickled slaw, melted manchego & horseradish cream.

Sesame Shake Ratings:

Taste:
I could really taste the black sesame though i wished the taste was stronger as i love the flavor of black sesame.

Cost:
The sesame shake cost AUD$6.50.

Overall:
Will recommend this drink to those who want to try something different and to those who enjoy the black sesame flavors!! I really enjoyed drinking the sesame shake as i could smell the aroma's of black sesame.

Figs, goat curd, wild rocket & jamon on sourdough rye
Figs, goat curd, wild rocket & jamon on sourdough rye Ratings:

Taste:
The dish was not overloaded with flavors and the figs went perfectly well with the jamon!! Simply enjoyed eating this dish!

Cost:
The dish cost AUD$16. I wouldn't say that it is really worth the price.

Overall:
Definitely recommend this dish for those who want something light regardless of the price.

the NOT reuben-wagya salt brisket, pickled slaw, melted manchego & horseradish cream
the NOT reuben-wagyu salt brisket, pickled slaw, melted manchego & horseradish cream Ratings:

Taste:
The beef was a little bit too salty in my opinion. The cream sauce tastes like wasabi-mayo which neutralized the beef's saltiness along with the fresh vegetables.

Cost:
The dish cost AUD$16, i think it's because they used wagyu beef.

Overall:
This dish is one of the most popular!! So i would recommend this dish to try it out but i think i would prefer the Figs, goat curd, wild rocket & jamon on sourdough rye more.

Part two blog post out shortly!

Review: Benefit's Boxing day Beauty Kit

So last Christmas, as you know from my Boxing Day Hual blog post, i had purchased the Benefit's boxing day kit. Since i went to Hong Kong early this year i just hadn't had time to review on the item's inside. But now that i finally got around to it, let's begin the review post nows!

The Boxing day beauty kit cost me only AUD$99 and the items are worth up to AUD$130. Inside the Benefit boxing day beauty kit comes 4 pieces of makeup which include the full size 'some kind-a gorgeous' foundation, full size 'Hoola' bronzing powder, sample size 'high beam' highlighter and a sample size 'bad gal' mascara.

Starting off with the 'Some kind-a gorgeous' foundation. This is a cream-based foundation which promises an "instant beauty boost" to even out your skin tone. As for me i'm using the medium tone since i tend to get darker in summer and lighter during winter so this tone blends well with both of my summer and winter skin tones.

The packaging is compact and light. It comes with a mirror and a sponge for an easy application when you are on the go.

Some kind-a gorgeous Ratings:

Colour:
I really like the medium tone as it goes well with my summer and winter skin tones. This foundation comes in two other tones which  are 'lite' and 'deep'.

Formula:
The first time i used this product i applied it using a foundation brush (since i'm not a huge fan of using sponges) but the results were unpleasant! It was really oily and it made my eyeliner smudge. So the next time i tried i used the sponge which it came with and the application results were so much better compared to using the foundation brush!! The formula changed from a cream to powder when applied using the sponge and it is super easy to blend out without being harsh!! It's also super light so my skin is able to breathe and very buildable to cover dark circles/flaws without having to use concealer. Love it!

Overall:
Highly recommend this product!! I definitely will be using this foundation more often on hot summery or spring days!! In winter and autumn it is perfect for a light application in the early morning's when you have to wake up early for uni or school, so you look more awake.

The next item in the beauty kit is the 'Hoola' bronzing powder. This bronzer has no shimmer or glitter required for that extra healthy glow on your face. It also comes with a soft cheek brush and a small mirror in the packaging to easily apply when you are on the go.

As you can see the colour is a matte tan brown. When applied it softly add's the warm healthy glow to the skin. Because the colour is really light it is very buildable to get to the certain shade you want.

Hoola Ratings:

Colour:
I love this matte tan brown shade as it goes perfectly well with my skin tone!!!

Formula:
The powder is very soft and silky making it really easy to blend on the skin!!

Overall:
I do recommend this product to those who have light-medium skin tones as i'm not sure whether this product will show up as sufficient on darker skin tones.

'High beam' is a pink liquid highlighter and is one of benefit's top sellers!! This highlighter promises to give a radiant glow.

As you can see the sample size comes in a tube with a brush applicator.
The colour is pearly pink and when blended it small spec's of shimmer can be seen as a result of the highlighter.

High beam Ratings:

Colour:
The pearly pink colour gives a really healthy radiant glow when i apply this to my brow bone, T-zone and cheeks.

Formula:
The highlighter is a thick-liquid consistency but it is super easy to blend out with your fingers!!

Overall:
I really like this highlighter and it's no wonder it is one of benefit's top seller as it can match any skin tone!!

Another sample sized product is the 'bad gal' mascara!! This mascara gives you a full and voluminous lashes!

The brush is really big and chunky, which to me i find it harder to use on my lashes since i'm more use to the majolica marjorca mascara brushes, so the benefit's bad gal mascara brush can easily make a mark on my eyelids.

Bad Gal Ratings:

Effect:
I can see my lashes increase in volume with one coat but i think for maximum effect i would suggest another 2-3 coats.

Formula:
The super black formula creates amazing results for those who have few or thin eye lashes.

Overall:
Definitely recommend this to those who have little or thin eye lashes to make their eye's more bigger and wide awake.

Let's brighten a day with another smile :)
trying on another wig :P

Let savor My Sweet Memories~♥

So after lunch at Grill'd and shopping around, my friend and i headed down to My Sweet Memory for a coffee break. My Sweet Memory is not your average desert cafe. Besides selling coffee and cakes they also sell antiques, stationary and polaroid camera's. They open from 6:30am till 12am on Monday-Sunday!! So far they seem to have two franchise, one located in Sydney CBD and the other in Chatswood.

My Sweet Memory Ratings:
Menu:
My Sweet Memory offers both hot and cold drinks. They also have cakes, macaroon's and sandwiches too.

Location:
Many people might miss this place as they can't see it very clearly but if this cafe is right next to the shop called "Little Big Fish"
Shop 4, 370 Anderson Street, Chatswood NSW 2067
This is the interior of the Chatswood franchise. Inside the shop is not the spacious but it does offer that unique experience to each customer. Definitely is a place where i reminisce on my most sweetest and happiest memories. One of the staff's serving us was a student from my high shcool though i wasn't really friends with.

Here i had ordered a green tea latte, where as my friend had ordered the ice coffee.

Green Tea Latte Rating's:

Taste:
The green tea latte was sweet and silky!! I loved it! I pretty much love anything green tea, since i'm not really a hot coffee person.

Cost:
This cost AUD$4.60 if i remember correctly!

Overall:
Really loved this latte!! Super delicious!!

How do you savor your sweetest memories??
