Universal Studio Japan 🎠 // Purchase your Express Ticket

Universal Studios Japan (USJ) is always on the top of my "to go" list whenever I'm visiting Osaka, Japan as I love going to theme parks and playing on the rides. The last few times I went to USJ I would book my theme park tickets prior to travelling to Japan as I didn't want the hassle of queuing up early on the day to purchase the 1 Day Studio Pass and Express 7* pass which are limited for purchase each day.

Otaku Time // Anime Autumn 2019 πŸ‚

Image result for autumn anime
Almost two weeks into Spring here in the Southern hemisphere and its still a little chilly down under. I haven't been blogging as much as I've been caught up with work and family~
Before I go ahead there is one anime that I have been loving and it's Demon Slayer (NOT Goblin Slayer, it's a completely different series! If you haven't watched it yet I recommend getting on that band wagon!

Charlie & Franks // CafΓ¨ ▪️ Coffee ▪️ Catering ☕

A few weeks ago I went out to Charlie & Franks for brunch at their newest branch located in St Leonards with a few other foodies. The cafe is hidden away from the busy highway traffic with plenty of outdoor seating's perfect to bring along your furry friend.

A short food trip to Nagoya 🍣 🍨

En-route to Toyko from Takayama, we decided to spend half a day in Nagoya, which is the largest city in the Chubu region and is the capital of the Aichi Prefecture located on the Pacific coast. Once we got to the station we were surrounded by massive shopping centres connected all around the station. I even found an official Studio Ghibli store so I had to check it out and purchase some merchandises. After shopping my friends and I went our separate ways and split into two groups, the group that continues shopping at Nagoya station and my group, where we were on the hunt for good food! Food is always my priority, which is why Ardi, Florence and I took the train and travelled two stops away to Hisayaodori for fresh sashimi and sushi!

MORI BUILDING DIGITAL ART MUSEUM - TEAMLAB BORDERLESS REVIEW 🎑

The most popular and interactive digital art museum in Tokyo, Mori Building Digital Art Museum - Teamlab Borderless, has attracted attention worldwide and was on the top of my "To do" list when visiting Tokyo this time round. The museum was created between Mori Building and TeamLab where the interactive artworks have no border separating them from one another and some even extend beyond their own zone and into corridors to create a new experience for visitors which can only be found at this museum.

Review Innisfree Green Tea Pure Body Gel Scrub 🌿

Winter has finally arrived here in Sydney meaning harsh weathers and hot showers can irritate or dry out my skin.

Neo Cosmo Collection // HoneyColor lens review 🐝

HoneyColor sent me their newest Neo model lenses to review their Cosmo collection which comes in three shades, Breeze Brown, Glint Honey and Whisper Gray. The Neo Cosmo range are monthly lenses and cost $16.90 a pair. I've included a few more information on the lenses below:

Innisfree Green tea seed skin Review 🌿

One of my favourite way to nourish and hydrate my skin is using the Innisfree Green Tea Seed Skin on a daily basis. This toner aims to deliver intense hydration and anti-oxidants to soften the skin and strengthen its' natural moisture barrier with its dual-moisture-rising technology.

BiorΓ© UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence Review πŸ’¦

Finding the perfect sunscreen to use on a daily basis becomes more and more important for me, especially when time seems to fly by so quickly. Earlier this year my friend mentioned BiorΓ© had released a very lightweight sunscreen so I decided to purchase some while I was in Japan and have been using ever since. Also, Kao Corporation had just released their new and improved version of their BiorΓ© UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence in February so I managed to get the latest version! The water-based sunscreen that combines strong UV protection with light-to-the-touch texture, has a micro defence formula that uses a capsule packed with a UV protection agent creating a fine veil on the skin and spreading into micro crevices.

YoRHa No.2 Type B

Travelling 2 hours away from Sydney, I was on the scout for shooting locations with my friend and decided to bring my Nier Automata 2B cosplay along as I've been meaning to shoot her for a while and I didn't get any chance to take some photos at SMASH! last year when I cosplayed her. I also brought along my Toga Himeko cosplay because why not~ Although we didn't take a huge amount of photos that day, my friend and I had a really fun time exploring the location and also overcoming the chilling idea of shooting in an abandoned building. Please note when shooting in an abandoned place, it is incredibly important to be aware of your surroundings, be cautious every step you take and never go alone because if you get into an accident you'll definitely need your friends to help. After the mini shoot I took notes of what to improve for the next time I come back to the same location to re-shoot 2B again. These notes were my wig was too long so I'll need to cut this even shorter, bringing more props such as her sword or roses to make things a little more interesting and continue to workout to get fitter and a peachier behind for those sneaky butt shots. I hope you all enjoyed photos!

Sashimi Shinsengumi 🐟 | Affordable Omakase

Earlier this year in February I finally had the chance to dine at Sashimi Shinsengumi for their popular Omakase course with my friends. Omakase translates to "I'll leave it up to you (chef)", where Shinsengumi has become in high demand over the years for their reasonable prices, delicious sushi omakase course menu and limited seating's per month which makes the whole experience more exclusive and personal.

KAN | a restaurant without a signboard 🍣

Our last night in Tokyo my friend Florence and I made our way to the largest Starbuck Roastery in the world but failed as the queue was way too long so we headed back towards the station instead. As it was getting pretty late we decided to dine out at Nakameguro since we both didn't feel like eating convenient store food for our final night. We came to a stop in front of the restaurant, KAN, which does not have an noticeable sign out the front but had a very simplistic and modern look.

🌸 Starbucks Reserve Roastery Tokyo | The Biggest Starbucks in the World ☕

While I was in travelling in Japan earlier last month I heard that the biggest Starbucks roastery in the world located in Naka-Meguro had just opened not too long ago so of course I had to pop by! My first trip there was a Friday night however the queue was 3 hours long! It was already 8pm and we were told that they close at 11pm so we decided to give it a miss that night and try again the next morning, which so happen to be my last morning in Tokyo. To avoid disappointment my friend, Florence and I decided to get there when the doors open in the morning and left our hotel bright and early to arrive at 7:10am (10 minutes since they opened their doors). Although we were quite early there was already a crowd but luckily no queue so we walked right in.

Otaku Time // Anime Spring 2019 🌸

I'm a little late with my Spring Anime list as I was travelling during the month of March so I didn't prepare anything in advance. Plus once I got back home from my trip I had to catch up on The Promised Neverland, Dororo, Kakegurui, etc. and Game of Thrones so I had been a little preoccupied. Anyway let us get straight to my watch-list for this season, but to be honest there doesn't seem to be too much on my list this time round.

Spring Street Social // New Asian Tapas MenuπŸ₯’

Earlier this week I was invited to attend the media launch of the new Asian tapas menu at Spring Street Social located in Bondi Junction. Ever since they re-opened under a new management one year ago, they have brought on a new Chef Kago Fong who has worked in top restaurants in Hong Kong and his mission is to test the boundaries of creativity bringing mouth-watering Asian fusion tapas to the Eastern suburbs.

Viskon lens review // HoneyColour 🍯

I'm back again with another review on the Viskon's colour contact lenses which were sent over from the HoneyColor team. HoneyColor is an online store which sells clear and colour lenses, glasses, beauty and eye care products. The first 3 lenses that I'll be review are all from the same series which is the Viskon 1-Day collection in the shade Chiffon Gray, Dolce Brown and Addict Brown. I've included a little more information on the lenses below:

[BEAUTY] Innisfree Black Green Tea Cream Review πŸƒ

The last item from the Black Green Tea range I have left to review is their cream which has a powerful moisturising effect to keep the skin hydrated all day long and comes in the usual jar-like packaging.

[BEAUTY] Innisfree Black Green Tea Serum Review 🌱

As part of my daily routine, the Innisfree Black Green Tea Serum is one of my favourite products to use before I go to bed. The serum is enriched with Jeju fermented black green tea which offers to leave the skin looking clear, firm and hydrated.

[BEAUTY] Innisfree Black Green Tea mask Review 🌿

I'm sure we all have those days where we're just get too busy to look after our skin due to work and what not. Recently my face has been feeling a little unloved and looking quite dull as I haven't been giving it as much attention as I should have. On days like this I like to pop on a mask and give my face the pampering that it deserves. I finally decided to whip out my Innisfree Black Green Tea mask to give my skin that extra boost of confidence again. This particular range aids in anti-aging, mosturising, hydrating, brightening and firming of the skin.

Innisfree | Jeju Pomegranate Revitalising Eye Serum πŸ‘€

When it comes to skincare there is always one item I must always replenish before I run out which is my eye care products! As time goes by it becomes more and more important to take care the area around my eyes to treat the signs of ageing and keep my skin looking youthful and hydrated at all times. The sign of ageing includes loss of moisture, glow, firmness and wrinkles!

Ghibli Cafe in Neutral Bay | Cafe Porco 🐷

I started my first food adventure earlier this month with my mumma-bear where we headed off to Neutral Bay originally for some J-BBQ on a super hot day of 31 degrees but the new place I had in mind had not open for lunch hours (yet!). So we decided to walk down the main road and see what we came across instead. We stumbled across Cafe Proco where images of their dishes from their menu were displayed on their windows and the place looked really relaxing so we hopped right inside. We were shown to our seats and was handed our menu and table water from the friendly and attentive staffs. My mum  said she felt instantly calm, relaxed and welcomed here as it had a warm and family-friendly atmosphere.
