Green Tea Lovers Eat at Chanoma Café (^・ω・^ )

Yesterday was the kareshi and I's monthsary so we headed out to the city for our small date that day! We decided to try out Chanoma Café as it recently just opened about 5 days ago and as a food lover like myself i cannot resist trying out new places!! I was really excited to head to Chanoma Café as their menu main ingredient is MATCHA (aka Green Tea!!) and you guys just know how much i love my green tea food!!

Chanoma Café, Ratings:

Location:★★
This cafe is found right next to Tenkomori Ramen House in Regents Place. The place can be a bit small if you plan to go as a large group and because this café opened not too long ago, it may smell a bit weird if you sit inside the café.
Regents Place, 501 George St,
Open 7 days a week 11:30 am-10 pm

Menu: ★★
They offer a huge range of green tea (matcha) drinks and desserts. Also they have lunch/snacks for the afternoon which include hot dogs and fries. Of course where would a café be without their coffee's and cakes!

Cost: ★★
The prices range from AUD$2.90-$6.50 which is a quite cheap price range for a cafe!

Service: ★★★★★
Their customer service is wonderful!! No complaint! But there is one change which i'd hope to see in the future is the way they process the food orders as it's not in order and a bit slow too!

Overall: ★★★
I do recommend to visit this place once before deciding you hate/love this place!

We took our seats and we went through the menu. Because we were hungry we decided to eat hot dogs rather than their green tea stuff but because i was really looking forward to all the green tea related drinks and food there i ordered myself one of their frappe's!

Matcha Shiratama Frappe Ratings:

Taste: ★★★★★
I loved this drink from head to toe!! Everything was just beautiful!!! Even the dango mochi balls were really nice and soft which made it easy to chew on.

Price: ★★☆☆
This cost AUD$6.50, in my opinion a bit expensive but definitely worth it

Overall: ★★★★
Highly recommend if you are a huge fan of mochi and green tea!!!

Chanoma Cheese Dog (Brawurst sausage) Ratings:

Taste: ★★★★★
I loved the curry marinated vegetables placed underneath the sausage! It was really flavorsome.

Price: ★★☆☆
This hot dog cost AUD$5.50 which i would rate an average price.

Overall: ★★★★
I do recommend this hot dog especially if you enjoy eating the flavors of japanese-style curry.

Spicy Meat Lover Dog (Brawurst sausage) Ratings:

Taste: ★★★★★
The hot dog really surprised me the most! Because it had prok mince on top i was expecting that small spicy pork flavor but once i bit into it and chewed on to the dog i was digging into my meal happily because the spicy was not what i had expected it to be. It was wasabi-mayo flavored!!!

Price: ★★☆☆
This hot dog also cost AUD$5.50 which i would rate an average price.

Overall: ★★★★
Highly recommend this hot dog!!! Super love the flavors especially the spiciness!!!

Shaked Fries (Chili & Garlic) Ratings:

Taste: ★☆☆
Nothing special about these chips at all, as i could only taste the chili and a tad of garlic. I regret not getting wasabi-mayo flavor now!

Price: ☆☆
This cost AUD$4.40 which i would say definitely not worth the price.

Overall:
Do not get this flavor if you intend to get the fries with flavor! Otherwise plain is the way to go if you are feeling peckish!

Cleanse your Nose Pores with Tony Moly's Egg Pore Nose Pack Σ(-`Д´-ノ;)ノ

Are the pores around your nose area blocked with oils or blackheads? If so then i have the solution for you to cleanse your pores the quick and easy way.
Using Tony Moly's Egg Pore Nose Pack can help you remove blackheads and impurities with their egg and camellia ingredients. All you need to do is wet the nose area and place the strip on top. Leave the strip on for about 10-15 minutes and wait until it has completely dried before peeling the strip off. Remember to close your pores up after using!!
Now the picture below is the result after using the pack!
Pores with oil, blackhead and other impurities have been pulled out!
Tony Moly Egg Pore Nose Pack,Ratings:

Effects: ★★★★
The nose pack really does work as i could see the small oils on the nose strip once i took it off but it doesn't seem it can remove the tougher blackheads.

Mask material/aroma: ★★
The material is cotton-base and the cutting of the nose strip can easily sit on the nose. The smell of the strip is not that pleasant as it smells biter-like, kind of like medicine.

Cost: ★★★
I bought these during the Tony Moly Grand Opening sale, so they were originally AUD$6.99/pack but they were on 40% off so i they cost AUD$4.20/pack!

Overall: ★★★★
These really do work, but i highly suggest to open up your pores so that you can remove more of the oils and blackheads.

Ippudo Ramen craving's once again ヽ(°◇° )ノ

If you follow me long enough you guys should know that i enjoy eating ramen! Since Sydney CBD Westfield's has a new Japanese restaurant called Ippudo which their signature dishes are their ramen's.
Ippudo is a refreshing modern taste with a few Japanese interior.
Ippudo Sydney Ratings:

Location:★★★
Located in the heart of the city, Sydney's Westfield, on level 5 which is their food court level.
Westfield Sydney,
Level 5, Shop 5021,
188 Pitt Street,
Sydney, Australia, 2000

Menu: ★★
They offer quite a lot of different ramen dishes. There are also a few rice dishes as well as dessert too.

Cost: ★★
The prices can be a bit expensive but definitely worth to try out the ramens.

Service: ★★★★★
Wonderful service, like always Japanese restaurants will always have their staff greet the customers when they enter!

Overall: ★★★
Highly recommend this place for all ramen lovers!! You will definitely find a ramen that you'll enjoy!

So here i ordered their ippudo gyoza, a bowl of ramen and their eel rice.
Karaka Ratings:

Taste: ★★★★
The soup was really clear and crisp. There was also a chilli paste inside to melt into the soup it was absolute wonderful as it gave the soup a little impact. The pork was super tender so it melted into my mouth. The ramen noodles was also very refreshing.

Price: ★★☆☆
I can't remember the exact price but the ramen was about AUD$17 or so.

Overall: ★★★★
Highly recommend if you are able to eat a bit/ a lot of chilli!!

Ippudo Gyoza Ratings:

Taste: ★★★☆☆
The gyozaa skin was really crispy and thin whereas the meat was super juicy and tender. It  was quite delicious but i prefer Ichiban Boshi's gyoza's more.

Price: ★★☆☆
The price was about $9

Overall: ★★☆☆
I would recommend their gyoza if you are a fan of them! They also have another gyoza too.

Hot Stone Unagi Rice Ratings:

Taste: ★
The eel was really nice as it was super soft but the rice was very average in general as there wasn't enough eel to eat with the amount of rice given, so i was slightly disappointed.

Price: ★★☆☆
This cost about AUD$10.

Overall: ★★
I do not recommend this dish at all, not really worth the price.

Blue Mountain Ratings:

Taste: ★★★★☆
The green tea ice-cream is made from the green tea powder mixed with milk so it becomes more crystalized. Other than that the anko (red bean paste) and fruits went really nice with the ice-cream.

Price: ★★☆☆
This was also about AUD$10.

Overall: ★★★★
I love green tea so i bought this as my crave for green tea but i won't say this is the best parfait that i have eaten.

Review: Skinfood Royal Honey Essence Mask Sheet

So this week i've been using tonnes of facial mask to pamper my skin and of course get my long awaited reviews done for you guys too!! I started off my week with Skinfood's Royal Honey Essence Mask Sheet which was a part of my 2013 love package from the wonderful sasa.com team.
"Step 1 Royal Honey Ampoule to the entire face"
So this mask was a little bit different to the usual sheet mask i would use as this one comes with a serum-like liquid to apply on to your entire face before placing the mask sheet on top.
"Before the ampoule absorbs completely, apply Step 2 Essence Mask from the center of your face to the rest in smoothing motions. Remove after 10~15 minutes. "

I decided to a Taeyeon inspired makeup tutorial since it's more simple to do and because it's summer here in Australia i don't want any heavy eye makeup which may feel heavy and melt away in the heat!
As you can see in the photo's above, you can see subtle hues of orange so i decided to use that colour to reflect the summer season here in Australia.
