Cafe Session @Reuben Hills

So yesterday i went out to the city for lunch with my dear friend  for a catch up Brunch session. We decided to go try out the the cafe called Reuben Hills, which is the first part of our brunch session. (part two out shortly!!)

Reuben Hills Ratings:

Location:
Reuben Hills is within walking distance from Central Station. It's about less than 10 minute walk to get to their location.
61 Albion St Surry Hills 2010 Sydney
Open 7 days 7am - 4 pm.

Menu:
The menu consisted of mainly sandwiches, burgers or tortilla wraps. They don't have a great variety of coffee-based drinks to choose from so there is nothing super special about their drinks i suppose

Overall:
I would recommend this place as it has a really nice atmosphere to it.

This is the interior of the place. Blurred out peoples faces for privacy reasons of course.

We sat right under the second floor where you can see that they had renovated to make a oval hole so there was more light and space to the place.

So while we waited to be seated we took a look at their menu, which was just made out of paper. I have a feeling that they change their menu's, maybe?
Left: latte, Right: sesame shake

Here i had ordered a sesame shake, while my friend had ordered a latte. As for food we ordered a Figs, goat curd, wild rocket & jamon on sourdough rye and the NOT reuben-wagyu salt brisket, pickled slaw, melted manchego & horseradish cream.

Sesame Shake Ratings:

Taste:
I could really taste the black sesame though i wished the taste was stronger as i love the flavor of black sesame.

Cost:
The sesame shake cost AUD$6.50.

Overall:
Will recommend this drink to those who want to try something different and to those who enjoy the black sesame flavors!! I really enjoyed drinking the sesame shake as i could smell the aroma's of black sesame.

Figs, goat curd, wild rocket & jamon on sourdough rye
Figs, goat curd, wild rocket & jamon on sourdough rye Ratings:

Taste:
The dish was not overloaded with flavors and the figs went perfectly well with the jamon!! Simply enjoyed eating this dish!

Cost:
The dish cost AUD$16. I wouldn't say that it is really worth the price.

Overall:
Definitely recommend this dish for those who want something light regardless of the price.

the NOT reuben-wagya salt brisket, pickled slaw, melted manchego & horseradish cream
the NOT reuben-wagyu salt brisket, pickled slaw, melted manchego & horseradish cream Ratings:

Taste:
The beef was a little bit too salty in my opinion. The cream sauce tastes like wasabi-mayo which neutralized the beef's saltiness along with the fresh vegetables.

Cost:
The dish cost AUD$16, i think it's because they used wagyu beef.

Overall:
This dish is one of the most popular!! So i would recommend this dish to try it out but i think i would prefer the Figs, goat curd, wild rocket & jamon on sourdough rye more.
