Kakegurui XX - After binge watching on the first season of Kakegurui, the second season will be releasing this summer! Kakeguri XX will continue to follow Yumeko Jabami, a seemingly naive and beautiful transfer student but is ready to try her hand at Hyakkaou's special curriculum. She doesn't play to win but for the thrill of the gamble.
Dororo - A samurai lord has bartered his new born son's organs to forty-eight demons in exchange for dominance on the battlefield. The abandoned infant survives thanks to a medicine man who equips him with primitive prosthetic-lethal ones with which the wrongs son will use to hunt down the multitude of demons to reclaim his body one piece at a time before confronting his father. On his journey the young hero encounters an orphan who claims to be the greatest thief in Japan.
Now, I personally liked the story line and had watched a live-action movie under the same title. If you can't wait for the series to air why not watch the movie first.
Boogiepop wa Warawanai - There is an urban legend that tells of a shinigami that can release people from the pain they are suffering, who is called Boogiepop. The legends are true. Boogiepop is real. When a rash of disappearances involving female students breaks out at Shinyo Academy, the police and faculty assume they just have a bunch of runaways on their hands. Yet some students know better. Something mysterious and foul is afoot. Is it Boogiepop or something even more sinister...?
The name of the shinigami does sound interesting so I'll be giving this one a go this summer! Though I'm not a huge fan of the drawing...I'll see how I go with the first few episodes~
Yakusoku no Neverland - At Grace Field House, life couldn't be better for the orphans! Though they have no parents, together with the other kids and a kind "Mama" who cares for them they form one big, happy family. No child is ever overlooked, especially since they are all adopted by the age of 12. Their daily lives involve rigorous tests, but afterwards, they are allowed to play outside. There is only one rule they must obey: do not leave the orphanage. But one day, two top-scoring orphans, Emma and Norman, venture past the gate and unearth the horrifying reality behind their entire existence: they are all livestock, and their orphanage is a farm to cultivate food for a mysterious race of demons. With only a few months left to pull off an escape plan, the children must somehow change their predetermined fate.
Honestly, I can't wait to watch how this series will unfold!!! Bring it on!
Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai: Tensai-tachi no Renai Zunosen - Considered a genius due to having the highest grades in the country, Miyuki Shirogane leads the prestigious Shuchiin Academy's student council as its president, working alongside the beautiful and wealthy vice president Kaguya Shinomiya. The two are often regarded as the perfect couple by students despite them not being in any sort of romantic relationship. However, the truth is that after spending so much time together, the two have developed feelings for one another; unfortunately, neither is willing to confess, as doing so would be a sign of weakness. With their pride as elite students on the line, Miyuki and Kaguya embark on a quest to do whatever is necessary to get a confession out of the other. Through their daily antics, the battle of love begins!
I have been waiting for another rom-com shoujo series for a while now, I think the last one I thoroughly enjoyed was 'Ore Monogatari'.
