The Zodiac Collection // Colourpop X Kathleen Lights (ﾉ´ヮ´)ﾉ✧

I haven't blogged much about makeup in the recent years so I decided to share one of my latest purchases that I made from ColourPop. When they had dropped their Zoadiac collection in collaboration with Kathleen Lights I immediately was drawn to its theme and their beautiful colours. 

The whole collection comes with a 12 shade palette, 2 lipsticks, 2 supanova shadows and 2 super shock highlighters. I purchased the lot in a bundle pack they offered which came to about AUD$80 after conversion (as they charge in USD). 

The supanova shadows (USD$7) are these super pigmented and glittery shadows with a metallic base. Their formula is made to last and can be used as a base, alone or as a topper. In the Zodiac collection they come in the shades Astrology and Constellation. Astrology is a beautiful shade of antique olive gold whereas Constellation is a soft champagne pink colour and I find it makes the perfect shade to use a base.

The Super Shock Highlight (USD$8) is famous for its formula which has a bouncy texture that creates the ultimate glow. It's buildable, blendable, and so buttery soft. The two shades that come in the collection are On the Cusp and Fire. On the Cusp is a beautiful golden champagne colour whereas Fire is a peachy gold shade. However one of the shades I had received was faulty which I had only found out when I took the out for the first time so I was a little disappointed and reached out to the Colourpop team. 

Next up we have the 2 Crème Lux Lipsticks in the shades What's your Sign? and Scorpio Moon. The lipsticks are enriched with a LUX blend of hydrating butters for a creamy-matte, intense pigmentation and long wearing look and feel. 

What's your Sign? is a beautiful light neutral nude shade which is perfect for the summer. 

Scorpio Moon is a beautiful plum mauve shade that works really well for those who have olive skin tones.

Moving onto the last item from the collection The Zodiac pressed powder shadow palette (USD$18) comes with 12 beautiful and colourful shades! These highly pigmented and long wear shadows apply evenly and feel ultra-velvety ans silky.

The shades are:

Aries: a metallic firey orange shade for a bold and fierce look.
Taurus: the perfect matte camel brown shade for an everyday look. 
Gemini: express yourself in this metallic antique gold.
Cancer: this soft peachy pink with a golden sheen feels like home and makes the perfect base shade too.
Leo: my personal favourite shade from the palette and also my star sign, this soft coral with a touch of gold is just divine!
Virgo: this matte dark chocolate brown can be used for practically every look.
Libra: this matte light dusty rose brings balance to any look.
Scorpio: share your passion with this rich metallic plum shade.
Sagittarius: if you're up for an adventure this matte magenta purple is just gorgeous. 
Capricorn: shoot for the stars with this black with gold glitter.
Aquarius: this matte periwinkle blue will unleash your creativity.
Pisces: be a daydream believer in this vibrant metallic aqua.

Overall I absolutely love this collection! The colours and formulas are beautiful as usual with only one hiccup this time round. Although I must say their customer service is a little on the slow end when resolving the issue at hand but I shall update you guys on their services later. You're still able to purchase the items from this collection on the Colourpop site however they no longer have the bundle set available.
