Rit-Carlton OZONE Bar // Best View in Hong Kong (ﾉ^ヮ^)ﾉ*:・ﾟ✧

After a long day shopping at Sha Tin & TST, Steph and I headed to the well-known OZONE Bar at Ritz-Carlton, for a night of drinks and glam. It was also Steph's birthday that day so we had to get out for some drinks right!

This shot is one of my favorite photos from that night capturing the light and interior design of the bar itself. There were no tables outside and so we had to get a table inside. With tables there is a minimum you must spend, which is HK$1000, which is not bad if you have a group of people.

We ordered the Foie gras with dried figs and port wine. This was really rich in flavour and really delicious. 

Steph ordered the Rose Bubble Martini, which is made from sake, rose tea, lychee, cucumber and ozone bubble air. The drink was light and delicious, perfect to have if you want something refreshing and light.

I ordered the Dragontini, which is made from vodka, raspberry liquer, raspberry, yuzu and basil foam. This was more flavourful and thicker consistency compared to the Rose Bubble Martini. 

We also ordered some mini wagyu beef burgers, rustic french fries with cheese and black truffle and cripsy seaweed calamari. The fries were the best truffle fries I've ever had! I highly recommend ordering them if you're there! 

When we moved to the outer bar area, we could see the beautiful city lights of Hong Kong. This is honestly one of the best views I've seen in Hong Kong and I highly recommend going for a drink, so you can see this amazing view! 

After a good night of eating and drinking, we headed back home and enjoyed the rest of the night chilling and watching TV.

Only a sleep away until I head off to New Zealand. I'm not sure about the wifi there so I will try to update my blog if I can,otherwise my instagram for sure!

Day & Night Eating in Osaka ೭੧(❛〜❛✿)੭೨

After a wonderful morning at Nara we headed back to Osaka for some major shopping business! 

When we arrived at Osaka, I was starving and wanted to find lunch. I found this fast food branch which sold rice sets at very cheap prices and so I urged Max that I wanted to eat here because 1. I was soooooo hungry and 2. it's so cheap and it can't be that bad. 

We both ordered two different sets and all I can say...this was one of the best food decision's made! I ordered the sukiyaki beef rice set and max got the pork cutlet rice set. The sukiyaki beef and broth was so delicious, even Max started to scab some too! 

After lunch we went shopping and I can say we spent a good 3 hours in one shop because they literally stocked up on everything you wanted to buy from food to cosmetic goods! 

After shopping for about 5 hours we finally decided to find a place to eat and I was craving some good old Gold Dragon ramen which I had when I first came to Japan with my family. 

I ordered the regular chashuu ramen and can I saw it taste as good as I remember it to be! Perfect for a cold winter day!

Just had to take a selfie with the bowl of ramen!! Mmmm~

After dinner we continued to look at all the shops along the way back to the station and we got back home around 11:30PM. Stayed up till around 12am before going to bed.

Finally finished up all my lecture notes studies and now I only have to make notes on the reading's we had done the past 12 weeks!

✧Kyoto to Osaka Night Life ヽ(๑╹ڡ╹๑)ﾉ

While heading to Kyoto station we actually missed our train to Osaka so we had to get new tickets for the next coming train. When we were waiting for our next train at Kyoto, Max decided to buy some waffles from Manneken. He came back with two different flavors in Strawberry Chocolate and Green Tea.

Thinking he was going to have both to himself he could offer me some too so I took a few bites from both! They are so crunchy on the outside but soft and chewy on the inside. The sweetness is does not go to the point of being sickly sweet which is why I simply enjoyed this small snack!

Once we got to Osaka and we started following the instructions from our Airbnb host to find our accommodation, and we past by this huge fountain in the station/shopping area too! It became our landmark to find our accommodation every time we went out. Once we had ditched our luggage's into our room we headed off to see the streets nearby as we exhausted and hungry to go anywhere else. 

Our accom. was located near the business districts so there were heaps of business women and men walking around. Not only that but there was heap of places with long curtain's in front of the entrance and I think those were actually cabaret or "host" places. At that moment I was thinking "good going...I picked the adult play area to stay in". Opps~ 

Anyways once we found a restaurant we quickly placed our order and we were served our drinks first, along with the edamame beans. 

Since it was a very cold chilly night we decided to order their pork offal with vegetable hot pot. The vegetables are super sweet and fresh and the offal pieces varied from bouncy to smooth in texture. It was a great way to end an adventurous day from Kyoto to Osaka, and kept it to a short and early night.

Woo! Almost done blogging about my Winter Japan trip from this year and in less than a months' time I'll be back in Japan to enjoy their summer wave!!
