Viskon lens review // HoneyColour 🍯

I'm back again with another review on the Viskon's colour contact lenses which were sent over from the HoneyColor team. HoneyColor is an online store which sells clear and colour lenses, glasses, beauty and eye care products. The first 3 lenses that I'll be review are all from the same series which is the Viskon 1-Day collection in the shade Chiffon Gray, Dolce Brown and Addict Brown. I've included a little more information on the lenses below:

・Diameter: 14.2mm

・Base Curve: 8.6mm 

・Water Content: 38%

・Life Span: daily

As the name suggest these are daily lenses and are disposed of at the end of the day so they are incredibly thin and breathable which makes it super comfortable to wear. The lenses come in a pack of 10, a total of 5 pairs which is packaged as per usual with a simple and sweet design. Each pack cost USD $13.90 which is $2.78/pair.

All the shades come in a 14.2mm diameter where the enlargement of my eyes are more subtle compare to a 14.5mm diameter lens. The design of the lens itself approach a more natural effect which blends into my natural eye colour. The Chiffon Gray has a slight blue undertone and looks alluring. The Dolce Brown has a sharp yellow undertone brown which give a more cat eye-like effect whereas the Addict Brown shade is softer with warmer pink undertones. Between the 2 brown shades I prefer the Addict shade is this looks more natural.

The next lens from the Viskon brand is their Standard lens in the shade Cosmic Gray. This particular pair of lens has a one month life span and only cost USD $12.90/pair which means it has a daily cost of $0.43/day. In comparison to the daily lenses these are much more affordable if you're planning on wearing colour lenses long term. The packaging again is simple and sweet. I've included a little more information on the lenses below:

・Life Span: 1 month

Although the diameter of these lens are exactly the same as the daily ones I find that they look bigger! It may be the design that make me think and feel this way but the outer black ring on the lens tends to create that effect. I also love how these gray lenses look as they are more define and has a anime-like effect, so these would be great for cosplay use too! Comfort wise these are not too bad though they are slightly thicker than the daily lenses they are still very comfortable to wear daily.

I would recommend this collection for both their daily and monthly lenses! They provide both options of a natural and vivid design which work well for those who have naturally dark eyes. The colours and comfort from this brand is great and the pricing is also relatively cheap in comparison to other lenses offered on the market, especially for cosplay-use.
