During the STUVAC & exam period I've not only been busy studying but also been busy going around having breakfast with my dearie, Stephanie every two-three days. My latest encounter was at The Paramount Coffee Project conveniently located 10 minutes away from either Central or Town Hall station.

I headed there on a Wednesday morning with Stephanie and it was quite packed already but thankfully we easily got a seat. We took our seat and started going through the menu. Instantly the waffles already caught my attention but it was the decision between sweet and savory.

In the end I went with the savory, Coca Cola Ox Cheek Waffle with Hush Puppies & Steph got their Elvis in Cuba with Chicharan. As for drinks since I ended up with the savory waffles I decided to get their Peanut Butter and Jelly milkshake whereas Steph got their Business and Pleasure.

The Coca Cola Ox Cheek Waffle: corn & tomato salsa, horse radish mayo, coriander. (AUD$19)-I loved all the flavors and textures of this dish! Simply amazing and beautiful to fill my stomach up in the morning. On the other hand I didn't enjoy the hush puppies all that much, so the next time I can definitely do without those and the side of bacon...I was expecting the crispy sort you know, so I was a tad bit disappointed.

The Elvis in Cuba: kimchi, bacon, kewpie, swiss cheese, onion rings. (AUD$19)-This dish was uniquely stacked and the kimchi added that extra hint of spiciness. I loved how this went really well with the Chicharan (crackling pork skin!).

The Business & Pleasure: espresso & shaken iced almond latte. (AUD$8)- Stephanie let me sip on the two drinks separately and I'm not a huge fan of the almond milk. She decided combine them into one cup (since the staff said it was possible) but it just curdled and Stephanie didn't feel too well after drinking it.

The Peanut Butter & Jelly Milkshake:(AUD$8)-This drink was heavenly! but I do have to warn you that it will get to that sickly sweet stage so definitely have some water on the table to wash your palette out.

The Paramount Coffee Project Ratings:

Menu:
Their menu is not the largest but there's enough dishes to choose from making it slightly easier (not really, they all sound so good!).

Price:
The prices are a tad overpriced but the flavors and portions are guaranteed.

Customer Service:
Absolutely terrible! I felt like they didn't really care much about us the whole time. It took a while for them to notice that we wanted to order or get the bill. Needs improvement for sure!

Overall:
I really enjoyed the food here but the service is not the best I must say. Some of the staff can be quite rude (pretending to not see you, etc.) so that put me off before my food had arrived.

Brunch before class 〜( ̄▽ ̄〜)

Beautiful flowers to start the day!
Hello everyone! It's been a while since i last blogged and I promise you I haven't been lazy, it's just all the uni work have been piling up and have a report due on Monday morning which I needed to finish off. But now that i have the report finish and waiting to be handed in I can now finally get some blogging done.
So early last week i headed out to brunch with a friend, Stephanie, as we both started classes in the late afternoon. We decided to go somewhere near by Central and decided to check out The Sandwich Shop.
The Sandwich Shop Ratings:

Location:★★
This cafe is super easy to find and about a 5 minute walk from Central Station.
44 Resservior St, Sydney, NSW, 2024,
Mon-Fri 8am- 3pm
Phone: (02) 9211 8710

Menu: ★★
They offer a wide range of sandwiches and salads. If there is a sandwich you don't find that suits your taste you can just create your own one using any of the ingredients listed in their sandwiches.

Cost: ★★
The prices range for sandwiches is about AUD$8.95, which some may find a bit expensive but in the city it would be a reasonable price. Salads are about AUD$9.50.

Service: ★★★★★
Their customer service is very warm and welcoming.

Overall: ★★★
Highly recommend this place for a nibble and a good catch up with friends. The place has a nice welcoming homey sense.
So Stephanie and I enjoyed the afternoon over some sandwiches and mini studying session.
I had ordered the Roast Vegetable Sandwich.
Roast Vegetable Sandwich Ratings:

Taste: ★★★★★
I really enjoyed this sandwich, especially when it was freshly made. I just loved the pumpkin and caramelized onions together and the freshness of the green vegetables on top! It was a really refreshing lunch for me.

Price: ★★★☆☆
The sandwiches cost $8.95 each!

Overall: ★★★★☆
Highly recommend this sandwich for all the those who do not like to eat raw vegetables much. This will leave your taste buds wanting to chew on the vegetables even more!

Stephanie ordered a bottle of organic coke and fig + raisin toast.
Organic Coke Ratings:

Taste: ★★☆☆
It taste exactly like coke, but less acidity.

Price: n/a
Don't remember how much this cost exactly.

Overall: ★★☆☆
It seems healthier but i don't really think i'd buy this.
Fig + Raisin toast Ratings:

Taste: ★★☆☆
Nothing really special about this although figs are really good for your body.

Price: ★★
This cost about $4.50 which i think is a bit pricey.

Overall: ★★☆☆
Don't really recommend this since there is nothing really special about the flavors or anything. It was also quite tough to bite one too once it started to cool down.

Luvo-ing while Stephanie studies away~

Italian Breakfast at Bruschetteria 102 ▽・ω・▽

This morning i headed off to the city to have a catch up breakfast meal with a friend of mine who will be going off to America with her family, on holidays for 2 months. I decided to take her to Bruschetteria 102 on Albion Street.
I love the whole atmosphere of the place as it is super homey, cozy and has a few vintage items there!! The weather today was very cloudy and by the time we finish our meal it started sprinkling.
Bruschetteria 102 Ratings:

Location:
The location is about a 10 minute walk from Central station or about 2 minute bus ride from Central station.
102 Albion St,
Surry Hills,
2010, NSW

Menu:
They offer meals from breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner, but since i went for breakfast we were given the breakfast/brunch menu. There was quite a few dishes to select from.

Cost:
The cost was a little costy in my opinion but in general i think it was worth every penny as i loved the Li Mortacci sandwich!!!!

Overall:
Highly recommend this place for brunch!! Not only is the food and coffee great, the customer service was excellent!! The italian brothers were super nice and such a happy and cheerful bunch of people!
I love the interior of this place as it gives a really cozy and homey-kind of feel. I really enjoyed my stay here
We took our time to look around and looked at the menu to see what we should eat.
We ordered our drinks first, I got the Nutella Coffee since i've never heard any of cafe that i know of have this, as for my friend she got the chai latte.
Since i didn't take a sip of my friend's latte i can't review on it but here is my review on the Nutella Coffee.

Nutella Coffee Ratings:
Taste: ★★★★★
I'm not really a hot coffee kind of person but because this had nutella in it i loved every single sip of this coffee!! It was not bitter at all and no need to add extra sugar!! Loved it!

Cost: ★★
This cost AUD$4 but if you add an extra 50 cent you can get the large size, but for me the size they offered was enough for me. I found the price slightly expensive since coffee usually cost around $2-$3.50 but this was definitely worth it!

Overall: ★
Highly recommend this coffee if you are a chocolate lover yet can't really take in the bitterness of the coffee, like me!

As we chatted away our food came~~!
Salmon & Egg Bruschette Ratings:
Taste: ★★★★★
One of my favorite italian dishes is bruschetta, as for the salmon and egg bruschette it was really nice!! This was off their breakfast menu. We also added mushrooms and avocado which cost and extra $3 per ingredient/s.

Cost: ★★
The bruschette cost AUD$12 but the extra ingredients were a bit expensive at $3 per ingredient.

Overall: ★
I would definitely recommend this to my friends who want a lighter breakfast!

 Li Mortacci Ratings:
Taste: ★★★★★
Li Mortacci is a some kind of pork and this sandwich was AMAZING! The balsamic vinegar added that extra zing in our mouth and this was absolutely fantastic!

Cost: ★★
This cost AUD$10, which i found super cheap for such an amazing meal!!

Overall: ★
Highly recommend this dish as it really opened up my appetite!!

Before we left the cafe for a mini shopping session i headed to the bathroom and there i saw a poster of Elvis Presley! The bathroom itself was super clean, and it's one of those male/female bathroom too. The bathroom also had some air freshener's and it had a really relaxing smell, there was also a candle which had a moustache on it.
Such wonderful customer services!!
