Kindred | Italian secret near you

Located within the area of Redfern, Kindred is an Italian restaurant located on the corner of Clevland Street. I first noticed this little corner restaurant as I was on my way to the bouldering gym and so happened to be stuck in traffic which is where I noticed their sign. I instantly Googled the place which came up with amazing reviews and friends sharing that their pasta was a must-try!

After hearing such great feedback about the place, I instantly booked a table for two for my bestie and me. Everything from the sourdough to the cultured butter and of course the pasta is made in-house. The bare wood interior gave it a rustic yet cozy atmosphere, and the staff was attentive and friendly as they shared their opinions about the food and wine menu.

Sushi Oe | Favourite Omakase in Sydney

Earlier this year, I had the chance to dine at Sushi Oe as there was one extra seat opening that my friend had available, due to a last-minute cancellation. So I took this opportunity as I have been meaning to try Sushi Oe's omakase for a while now.

Bennelong | Sunday Jazz Lunch

Having lived in Sydney my entire life, it took me 21 years to properly see the Opera house in person, so the least to say I have finally made my way to Bennelong, which was a long time in the making. I booked a table of three for their Sunday Jazz lunch session. The staff's service is impeccable which was evident upon entry where we were greeted the moment we arrived in the open space and taken to our table. The live jazz performance was resonating throughout the entire premise which was beautiful.

Poly | Surry Hills - Fried Potato topped with Salted Egg Yolk and Chives

Last month, my best friend and I went to Poly located in Surry Hills to celebrate our birthdays and achievements thus far. We started off with a glass of Pinot Noir, which was more on the lighter side and we thought would pair well with what we ordered for lunch.

Ramen Omakase | Senpai Ramen

It has been quite a while since I've had the time to sit down and write and I'm back with another food review post to kick start the 2022 adventures. This time I'll be sharing with you my experience at the first ramen omakase restaurant in Sydney, called Senpai Ramen, curated by Chase Kojima. Located just outside Chatwood Chase, Senpai Ramen has been one of the most hyped new restaurants, where it has been known that the custom-made ramen bowls cost around $100 each.
