On Thursday, 11th August, I was invited by FCBA community to join them and a group of other foodies for a feast at the newly opened Monte Alto Roasters located in Crows Nest. They have been up and running for just over a month now and they have been expanding their good food, drinks and music with many of the locals. They are opened for breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as offering a unique drink menu from the bar.

「とようけ茶屋」Toyouke Chaya // Best Tofu in Kyoto (ノ^ヮ^)ノ*:・゚✧
After that amazing tofu lunch I ordered their Tofu Manju (Tofu dumpling). The skin was not sticky on the teeth at all but had that perfect chew to it and the filling was just beautiful and went so well with the green tea served along side.

Just casually procrastinating while I study, what better way than to do something more productive (such as blogging). On another note, I have exactly one month until I will be in Japan again enjoying all the food, people, shopping and culture once more!
Anyways leave your comments of what you'd love to see in the prizes from Japan, for the Japan giveaway!!

Truffle Month | Sokyo Japanese Restaurant (ó㉨ò)
I enjoyed the smooth texture which just melted in your mouth as for flavors with the truffles not so much but it wasn't too bad.
I wasn't a fan of these tempura but the display of the dish was beautiful.
My favorite truffle dish of the night! The meat was perfectly cooked as every bite melted away.
This was quite an interesting dessert when it was eaten with the truffles but I must say nothing beats their Ice-cream Mochi!
