This time I will be reviewing one of their more unique-design circle lens from their Vassen Vanilla Milk Shake series in the Brown shade.

These were quite comfortable and had no discomfort when wearing them. 

Colour: ★★★★★

The colour of the lens is quite vivid in both real life and in photos. The design of the lens is incredibly unique with a blend of blue, brown and a bit a grey. It creates a dolly crystal eye effect. 

Enlargement: ★★★★☆

These lenses are 14.5mm in diameter but appear much larger when worn which gave me dolly-looking eyes~

Price: ★★★★☆

These particular pair cost USD$22.90 on their website. 

Overall: ★★★★☆

Highly recommend this pair if you’re looking for a unique pair of lens. These are vibrant in colour and are able to give you both the enlargement and dolly-eye factor.

Just a few more days until the Easter break meaning my one week mid-sem break off uni!! WOOHOO! Time really flies, I can't believe it's already been 6 weeks of uni already! I guess having a job really makes time go by faster? Anyway I'm super excited for the upcoming week as I've been needing a night out with friends and BAM! I get two nights of fun with friends! But first...I've got a management quiz to study for beforehand.

Coco Noir | Café (*^◇^)_旦

After my morning shift, at Warringah Mall, I went and had lunch since I was super hungry and plus another reason was because I had found a super cute vintage-y French themed cafe last week as I was buying boxes of strawberries for $1 each!!

The cafe was called Coco Noir (meaning black coco) where the interior of the cafe reflects a vintage, classy yet modern atmosphere, very popular among the ladies. 

Last Friday I started off my order with a regular mocha. You could smell the roasted coffee beans as you bring the cup towards yourself but the taste of the roasted coffee is blended well with the chocolate making it a delight to drink.

My main meal for that afternoon was their chicken and mushroom filo where the sizing was perfect for myself. There was generous amount of chicken and mushroom inside and the texture was lovely as there was a mixture of meat, mushroom and their stuffing? with a strong taste of chicken. 

Today I decided to go for their hot chocolate. It had a much more milky taste to it and I think they use chocolate sauce or syrup as it has that more sweeter taste to it. I'm not a huge fan of that particular sweetness so I would definitely prefer their mocha.

My main meal of today was their cajun chicken filo. Once again the filo was consistent and there was generous amounts of chicken but much more playful  with flavor. As usual I added tomato sauce to my filo for that extra tickle in taste. 

It's been a while since I've shown my face on my blog and instagram~

Before I left the shop I couldn't resist but to purchase a few of their macarons sitting on the shelves. I also gave a few away as I met up with my friends afterwards. I purchased the following flavors:
Nutella- thought it would be amazing but I was wrong as it wasn't at all that chocolately nor unique~
Strawberry- I loved the fruity yet creamy taste!! My favorite flavor from the lot!
Salted Praline- unfortunately I gave this one away to my friend so I wasn't able to grab a nibble~
French Vanilla- just your ordinary vanilla-tasting macaron~
Popcorn- BEWARE! There are actual hard corn bits in here!I bit into one and it wasn't a great surprise for me. As for the macaron itself had a slight buttery popcorn taste but wasn't very strong. 
Lychee- Quite fruity I must say!

Today, work was quiet and there wasn't much we could really do so I got creative and started on my first creation design on bracelet for display. I guess if you haven't followed me on INSTAGRAM you will probably have no idea what I'm talking about~

失恋ショコラティエ | Heartbroken Chocolatier

I haven't watched Jdrama's in a long time and I guess the last one I remember watching was about 2-3 years ago now but a few weeks ago I picked it back up starting off with Shitsuren Chocolatier. I saw a few pictures on tumblr saying that they went all out on intimate kissing scenes (which is rarely in most jdrama's) and with very realistic scenes when it comes to relationships so I thought I'd give it a go.

The drama is about "Koyurugi Sota who looks up to and adores his senior in school, Takahashi Saeko. With his one-sided love for her, he decides to leave for Paris to learn the art of making chocolates, as she loves chocolates. After returning from Paris, Sota dreams of creating the perfect chocolate to present to Saeko, and that it will make Saeko fall madly in love with him. Saeko, who is already married, is actually quite the airhead, but her actions seem to lead Sota on. Does Saeko not know that Sota is madly in love with her? Or is she just playing with his feelings?"

I found this drama somewhat interesting but I can't quite put my finger on whether if I liked it or not...Hmmm~But I was indeed surprised that the Koyurugi Sota was played by Matsumoto Jun! He has gotten more meatier around his face!! Especially if you compare him to his HYD (Hana Yori Dango) days!! I guess this drama brought me laughter and tears, so I guess this wasn't such a bad drama.

Let me know what you think of this drama if you've watched it, otherwise maybe give it a go if you're procrastinating or have nothing else to do at the moment. BEWARE! The first episode made me ate half a block of chocolate!!! The chocolate-making scenes were amazing!

I realized I have started to slack up on blogging again and I apologize, I just haven't been feeling up for it lately but I'll try and get a post up once in a while~ On the brighter side of things I was looking up puppies last night and it made me want to get one, I already have my eye's on two lovely pups but just awaiting on their price quote and conditions. I don't want to be overpaying for an untreated pup and I want to make sure it's healthy too! I did have a rabbit phase too but I'm just very uncertain about the rabbit and all......
