So for those who do not know what this is all about well on the 15th day of the eight month of every year of the Chinese/Lunar calender we celebrate the Moon Festival. The moon during this time is always round and full which is just simply gorgeous to look at.

I have been celebrating this festival for as long as i can remember and traditional we would eat our moon cakes[月餅], have our family dinner (all members must be present!) and at the end play with lanterns [燈籠] and/or melt wax! But now as i get older i started to stop playing with my lantern as much and overall stop with the candle burning to make a wax plate. Nevertheless, i continue to eat my mooncakes and enjoy dinner with my families and friends.

I love eating the one and only Kee Wah's mooncake cause they make it nice! HAHA! We always buy the ones with the double salted yolk in them but i don't eat the yolk because i don't like it? So why not buy the one's without yolk, well simply because they just don't taste as nice as the ones that were bake with the yolk in them!! Here's a short story i want to share with you guys about my friend and her first mooncake

"I bought mooncake to school one day and my non-asian friend has never heard of it before so i decided to give her some to try and  since then she has been buying her own mooncakes each year because you usually can buy them in September which is her birthday month!"

This year half my family is in Hong Kong and they celebrated the Mid Autumn Festival with my relatives as they went to a all you can eat buffet at JW Marriott Hotel. As for my mum, younger brother and i headed off for dinner at my mum's friend's place!
We only stayed for dinner as my mum was not feeling so well. But dinner was really filling, we had chicken, vegetables, lamb chops, sashimi, steamed fish, mapo tofu and tempura prawns!

Now i'm at home just drinking some green tea and munching on some moon cake while watching Runningman and laugh my night away~.

The aroma of mask has a soft aloe vera smell which is quite relaxing and gentle on the skin. The aloe vera and the tea green extracts work as an antioxidant to prevent and repair the skin. Aloe vera is also good for keeping the skin moist and hydrated.

I checked on the sasa website and it cost AUD$12.20 for a box of 10 sheets. I personally think this price is reasonably cheap and definitely worth the try!!! Thank you Miwari for the masks!!!

Highly recommend this mask since the fitting seems to be much better and it's also super moisturising which is perfect to use on days your skin feels dehydrated. Not only that but it gives you an instant V-line shaped face!!

「ボーカロイド- 鏡音リン」Vocaloid's Kagamine Rin Hard R.K. Mix Cosplay Makeup Tutorial

Since Halloween is coming soon i decided to get this Cosplay makeup tutorial up since i have been delaying it for some time now. So this time i did Vocaloid's Kagamine Rin Hard R.K. Mix Look! 

So here i tried to make her look slightly darker yet keeping her cute and innocent eyes and lips.

Remove your nail colour with a Sweet Scent & Animania 2012

So here is my first review since i bought these Butter London products. First i'll be reviewing on their nail polish remover since i'll need to start with fresh clean nails to try their nail polishes!! I bought their nail polish remover as a set so it comes with a nail lacquer and i also bought 4 other shades of nail lacquer!!

Butter London Powder Room Acetone Free Lacquer Remover Ratings:

Formula: ★★★★★
The formula is a non-toxic nail lacquer, making it much more safe for us to use onto our nails. 

Aroma: ★★★★☆ 
It says it has a sweet-smell so i gave it a whiff from the bottle and boy was i wrong!! It smells exactly the same as normal nail polish remover!! So i thought "false advertisement" until i used it i can understand where the sweet smell comes in!! Your nails will have a sweet smelling scent after using the remover and it lasts for quite a while!!

Effect: ★★★★★
Easily removes all traces of my nail colour like it's nothing at all! 
Packaging: ★★★★☆
The packaging is super cute and probably the most cutest packaging i've seen so far. I love the lace pattern fram around the bottle!  

Price: ★★★★★ 
I bought this as a set so it comes with a nail lacquer and it only cost me AUD$15 where as shipping was roughly $1.80 (since i bought 4 other Butter London nail polishes on top of this order). The remover itself cost about AUD$8-$10 & the nail polish cost about AUD$14 online, not including shipping!!. So i save $10 or so!!! BARGAIN!

I highly recommend this nail polish remover!! Even if you're not using Butter London's nail lacquer it can remove your nail colour no matter what!! (My previous nail colour was by O.P.I!). I would definitely be purchasing this product again when i run out & see it on sale!!

So today i headed out to Animania as i was to perform on their stage for dance! There were tonnes of amazing cosplayer's there!! & i even saw my older brother's friends there too!! I was confused with all the male cosplaying female characters and i saw the cutest toddler girl cosplay Sakura Haruno from Naruto!
It was a super fun yet tiring day and we all had heaps of fun!!
& OMGSH!! Saw a stall selling LARGE Alpaca Plushies!! Super cute i wanted one!! My friend said they were selling it for $60 though so i was a bit iffy on the price...maybe next time~ Anyways here is a pic if you don't know what i'm talking about!!!

Say Bye Bye to Fine Lines with Collagen Crystal Eye Mask JSYY

Another day of no uni so i decided to pamper the skin around my eye area with an eye mask from the collection of masks which Miwari gave me.

After taking the eye mask off i can feel that the skin around my eye area looks more hydrated and moist with some fine lines visibly reduced.

I LOVE THE MATERIAL! It's a plastic-gel eye mask!! The thickness of the fully absorbed eye mask slowly decreases in size and width as our skin absorbs the serum.

Formula/Aroma: ★★★★★

The soft floral scent is quite soothing

I actually have no idea where Miwari bought this product so i guess you'll all need to comment her about that. But i'm pretty sure the price would be reasonable otherwise Miwari wouldn't buy it herself unless it contains magical factors!

Highly recommend this eye mask to those who have fine lines near their eyes!!

Now i know i'm not a huge fan girl of Brad Pitt but nor do i hate him. But this movie seems quite interesting of how they break the rules and give ito see this move. 

It also has a bit of humor to entertain us, girls, because i know i won't be able to continue watching so much serious-ness for long and might dose off. So i'm actually looking forward to watching this movie!

So come see Killing the Softly at your nearest Hoyts. Mine is Sydney CBD or Chatswood. Also don't forget to check out their Xtremescreen and IMAX and if you are over the age of 18 or if you have a guardian who is over the age of 18 then you should definitely check out their La Premiere!!

Review: Sasatinnie Red Wine Moisturizing & Rejuvenating Mask

It's been a while since i last did a facial mask review as i have to admit that i have been busy and yes..lazy these days!! But finally had the time to stay home because i'm sick so no uni for me (yay?) and so i put on a sheet of mask to enjoy the  rest of my afternoon.

Today i went ahead and took a facial mask from my birthday present pack which Miwari had put together for me! I decided to go for something more hydrating and picked out Sasatinnie's Red Wine Moisturizing & Rejuvenating Mask. 

 

 So let's put this mask on!! *note, sorry for the bad precision of the mask..i was just extremely lazy to correct it.

Red Winie Moisturizing & Rejuvenation Mask Ratings:

Effects:  ★★★★★

I feel that my skin is really moist after using this mask and would definitely be buying more!!

Mask material: ★★★★★

The mask material is cotton-based sheet mask which is relevantly thin and easy to apply to the face without ripping. The fitting is quite well on my face therefore making it super easy for my face to absorb the serum!

Formula/Aroma: ★★★★★

The aroma of mask has a soft floral scent and no strong wine smell which i think is quite soothing so those who are weak against alcohol the smell won't make you feel dizzy. There is also extra serum inside the packet which you can use to apply to your neck and/or hands

Cost: ★★★★☆

I checked on the sasa website and it cost AUD$7.50 which comes with 10 sheets of mask. But they are currently having an offer where if you purchase 2 quantities of 10 sheets it will only cost AUD$12.30!! Better purchase soon since the offer ends 24th Sept 2012.

Overall:  ★★★★☆

I would recommend this especially for those who have dry/delicate skin types as this will give you a boost of moisture to your face!

Another mask which i'm interested in trying out is the Snail Rejuvenating Mask. Yes i did say SNAIL! Recently it has been discovered that the slime that snail produce have beneficial factors for our skin such as anti-wrinkle, moisture, etc. Have you ever wondered why snails can walk on sharp edged plants without getting any cuts or wounds on their foot? It's all thanks to their slime!! So i'm going to buy some SNAIL beauty products soon and hopefully they are as good as they say!

Friday Brunch @ Mad Spuds Cafe Ｏ(≧▽≦)Ｏ

So today i headed out for another brunch session with my tonylion, suyin and cindy! We headed off to Mad Spuds Cafe. 

Mad Spuds Cafe Ratings:

Location:★★★★☆

The location is quite easy to find but can be a bit far to walk from Central station. I would say it's a good 15minute walk.

Mon-Sat: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Sun: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm 

Menu: ★★★★☆

The menu offers both breakfast and lunch! They range from salad's, nachos and baked potato's aka SPUDS!

Cost: ★★★★☆

All the food was quite reasonably priced from memory as we ordered four dishes and split the bill which ended up being about $16/each.

Overall: ★★★★☆

Highly recommend this place for those who like Mexican food!!

So checking out their menu we ordered dishes from both the breakfast and lunch menu as well as their specialty SPUDS!

So while we were waiting for our food to come out we just chatted away as well as taking photo's of the cafe's interior~ There were so many Mr.Potato Heads in the shop!! 

And here are all the dishes we had ordered to share between the four of us today!

First dish we tucked into was the Mad Spud Stack

Mad Spud Stack Ratings:

Taste: ★★★★★

The flavors were just right and i must say that it was favorite dish of the day!!! Everything went really well together!!

Cost: ★★★☆☆

The cost is quite reasonably at AUD$15

Overall: ★★★★☆

Highly recommend this dish for first timers!

Next we tried the Little Piggy Spud!

Little Piggy Ratings:

Taste: ★★★☆☆

The spud was a little bit plain in my opinion so i added tonnes of pepper, because i love pepper, and a squirt of tomato sauce. But i really enjoyed the coleslaw!

Cost: ★★☆☆☆

This dish cost us AUD$14, it's an alright price but not something i would pay for again.

Overall: ★★★☆☆

This dish is quite plain i must say so i won't really recommend this dish as much, though the coleslaw was really nice!!! I pretty much ate all of it since no one was touching it

Moving onto the next dish, we tried the Crispy Corn & Potato Pancake.

Crispy Corn & Potato Pancake Ratings:

Taste: ★★★☆☆

This dish was my second favorite of the day!! The flavors were not dull at all and you know me i love eating dishes with smoked salmon in them!!

Cost: ★★☆☆☆

This dish cost us AUD$18, i know the price is quite costy but definitely worth a try at least once!

Overall: ★★★☆☆

This is really unique and i would consider it a light meal since the flavors were not heavy or anything! But i think if the price was a bit cheaper i would be ordering this dish more often! 

Moving onto our lash dish which was their Potato Noachos! I'm a huge fan of nachos because i just love how i get beef, tomato, avocado, onions, etc. in one dish!!! 

Potato Nachos Ratings:

Taste: ★★★★☆

What's different about this nachos to any other nachos is that they use potato skin to replace the corn chips! This dish was really nice as the skin were nice a crispy but because we left this dish to the end the parts that were under the toppings got a bit soggy. Other than that this dish is quite nice as a entree if i must say.

Cost: ★★★☆☆

The price again is not too bad AUD$15!!

Overall: ★★★★☆

I highly recommend the potato nachos if you enjoy eating the usual nachos like me!!! It's quite filling and you have the option of choosing vegan or vegetarian if beef is not your thing!

Anyways so i've been keeping fit and eating healthier lately and i've lost 1kg!! So summer body here i come hahaha! Okay well i do heave my cheat days were one meal i can eat whatever i like!
