KylieCosmetic // Part 2- Lipkit review & swatches + video ٩(♥ω♥*)۶

Late March I blogged about how to shop successfully on the KylieCosmetic website as their lip kits are extremely popular due to the high intensity pigmentation of their lip products and how long-lasting and transfer-free they all are. Today I will be sharing with you guys, the second part to the review on KylieCosmetic, which will include my review and swatches of all 8 shades that I got.

The lip kits will be delivered in this black and white drip-dropped rim box which is pretty much the signature packaging for KylieCosmetic products.

I placed all my lip kit together into the one box so it is easier to find the shade that I want to use. The lip kits come with one pencil liner and one liquid matte lipstick at the cost of US$29.

I like keeping it in this particular colour coordination: Koko K, Candy K, Posie K, Kourt K, True Brown K, Dolce K, 22, Mary Jo K.

Here are all the swatches for all 8 shades of the lip kits. The pencil liners are all swatch in heart shape's and their matching liquid lipstick swatches are beside the lip liner swatches. I have also labelled them to make it easier to know what shades are what.

I like how KylieCosmetic are cruelty free so they do not test their products on animals. Also their lipsticks contain a moisturising ingredient for a super comfortable, emollient and silky feel that does not dry your lips and last on the lips for many hours without touch-up. Touch-up is only needed if you eat greasy food where the lip product can slide occasionally and it best to remove all the residues before reapplying a new layer. I can honestly say the lip kits are something to rave about as it does live up to the hype and price point is not too expensive. If you'd like to see the lip kits in action, you can watch my review/swatch video below.

Today is ANZAC day and so for all Australians and NZer's let us all remember those who had fought for us. Lest We Forget.
Even though today is a public holiday, I honestly do not know what else we can do on them...*sighs* so I might head out in a bit to go for a good old food date with my boyfriend.

Back to School Makeup & Hair | Natural & Cute

Today I uploaded a new video onto my youtube channel, on the topic Back to School. Here in Sydney, school begins next week so I thought this would be a great opportunity to share and hopefully prep you girls who want to have cute hairstyles and look less tired when you go to school again.

In my video I use very limited makeup, which I try to portray a more natural and refreshing appearance. Some schools do not allow the use of makeup, but when I was in highschool, there were no strict rules. We could dye our hair any colour, paint our nails whichever shade we liked and wear as much makeup as we wanted.

As for myself, I hardly wore any makeup during my junior years, it was only until my senior years that I started using a bit of eye liner and some tinted lip balm or lip gloss.

However, nowadays I sleep later than usual so dark circles are bound to appear. Hence a little help from makeup can help conceal and make me look much more refreshed and awake.

You will also find 4 cute hairstyles which are super easy to achieve and doesn't take too long either. The video is below so I do hope you guys enjoy it!

It has been a while but finally getting my Japan blog post up one by one!! On the 22nd February, Sunday the day of our departure to Japan had finally arrived for myself and high school mate, Max. We set out early in the morning to catch our flight from Sydney to the Gold Coast. Once we arrived at GC our flight to Narita, Tokyo was delayed so we arrived in Japan later than expected.

Once we arrived at the airport we went to get our JR Passes exchanged and purchase our express tickets to get to Shinjuku which was to come in the next hour so while we waited for our train we decided to get some food nearby at a cafe called DOUTOUR. (Excuse my makeup-less and tired face!)

I ordered a hot green tea latte and a salsa wrap to fill my belly. Also got one of their donuts cause they looked so good! Everything was just very pleasant and somewhat homey. It was our first meal in Japan!

When we went to catch our train to Shinjuku I saw vending machines which reminded me so much of my first time coming to Japan with my family back in 2008 so I had to take a picture next to it once again.

Once we got to Shinjuku we headed off to find our accommodation which we booked through AIRBNBOur apartment was in Hatsudai which was about another 10-15 minutes train ride from Shinjuku. We arrived at our apartment around 12am and freshened up before heading to bed. We found a few vending machines on our way to our accom. so I purchased my old time favorite hot corn soup to end the night!
