Happy Owl Cafe Chouette πŸ¦‰

Our first day in Osaka we went to an owl cafe, called Chouette. The cafe has a very relaxing and forest-like atmosphere with its woodland theme upon entry. On one side of the cafe, known as the "Petting area", we saw all the various cute and quirky owls resting in a comfortable and peaceful environment and the other side was their spacious cafe which was called their "Drinking area" where you could leave your belongings and have a meal or drink where it cost ¥1500/hour for an adult with a complimentary drink. To extend your stay at the cafe it is ¥500 yen/30 minutes. We took our time to really relax as we had an early start and took our time snapping photos of the cute owls and observing the different species they had available.

The friendly staff at the cafe shared the menu where we could order our complimentary drink from and we were free to move around between the two areas until our time was up. We were told a few house keeping rules such as keeping our cell phones on silent/manner mode, refrain from talking too loudly, do not use flash photography and using their disinfectant spray to clean our hands before touching the owls. Also when petting the owls we were to pet them on the back of their heads or on the beak.
There was one large owl, named Candy, who was my personal favourite as she was super calm and beautiful so I had to take photos with her and of her.
