WAZUKA - Japanese Tea Town 🍡

We visited Wazuka (ε’ŒζŸη”Ί), a town located at the most southern part of Kyoto. They are well known for their 800 year of tea history, tea leaf fields and beautiful scenery. The main reason we came here was to do a little bike ride around the neighbourhood and enjoy a relaxing time at the Sky Cafe Wazuka. The Wazuka-cha Cafe is located very close to the bus stop but it was a little tricky to find a t first as they had relocated. Luckily they had signs and arrows showing us where to go so we found the new store fairly easily. However, it was a very gloomy day and it did started to rain so we had to cancel out the bike riding option and chill at the Sky Cafe instead. We purchased a few drinks and snacks to take up to the Sky Cafe which overlooks the whole town of Wazuka. You get the whole place to yourself for an hour, which was lovely for my friends and I to really chill, relax and enjoy each others company along with good hot drinks, snacks and music. If you do ever come to Wazuka I suggest checking the train and bus times in advance as you don't want to miss your bus if you have somewhere else you want to be. As for me and my friends, we headed off to Nara and Kobe next!
