I will be sharing with you guys a relatively cheap place for Korean fusion food around here in Sydney. KOFOO had opened early this year and they had a menu where all the meals only cost AUD$7 during their opening. Of course after that the menu then changed, where their dishes started from $7. I shall review some of the foods I had during the time I went when their menu was still $7/dish and some of their recent menu price since I do not go here as often.

This place reminds me of scenes which could happen in a Korean drama where the male lead wants to breakup with the female lead but obviously gets distracted due to the surrounding. Which brings me to this video by Dine Hear!

The location of the restaurant is very easy to find. It’s about a 10 minute walk from either Chinatown or Townhall station.

They offer a range of traditional Korean food and of course a fusion of other cultures’ food such as the Japanese Bento’s, spaghetti, hot dogs, etc.

The service there is great! But the staff can sometimes forget what you wanted when it gets busy.
Environment/Atmosphere: ★★★☆☆
The environment of the restaurant is very unique as they play jazz music in the background and it looked as if you're in an underground restaurant. Although during busy peak hours such as lunch it can get extremely noisy with the huge crowds.
Overall: ★★★☆☆
I would recommend this place to see if you like it. I like this place but the food there isn’t amazing or anything but definitely worth a try.

I was quite surprised that there was no kimchi at all for our side dishes. Anyways let's get on with the review.

The soup is delightful as it does not overwhelm our taste buds. Instead it just gradually builds up the flavor. The dumplings went really well with the soup too! Loved them

Overall the bento was not bad yet not amazing that you’d want more and more.

The bento cost AUD$15, but during their promotion it was only $7. But $15 is slightly over the average price to pay for a bento meal here in Sydney.

Pork dumplings Ratings:
Taste: ★★☆☆☆
The pork was really succulent but I didn’t like how the skin of the dumpling was thick and dried out easily. I had to dunk the dumpling into the dumpling soup dish I was having so the texture of it would be better.

Don't really recommend these dumpling on its' own. Better off getting it in the soup!!
